The story behind Eighth & Ever

A little creativity. A lot of heart.

A space for the ideas, projects, and little details that turn everyday moments into lasting memories.

Hi, I’m the one behind Eighth & Ever.

By day, I work full-time in a career I genuinely love. Outside of that, I’m usually dreaming up my next creative project, planning a celebration, decorating something, or finding a new way to make an ordinary day feel a little more special.

I’ve always loved the details—the decorations, the thoughtful touches, the little surprises that make people feel celebrated.

And while I love the creative process, I also know how much time it can take to figure everything out.

That’s where Eighth & Ever comes in.

Because the details shouldn’t be the hardest part.

Whenever I take on a project, I end up researching supplies, comparing options, figuring out what works, and learning a few things the hard way.

I started thinking: if I’ve already done all that work, why not share it?

Eighth & Ever is where I bring those ideas together—the inspiration, the instructions, the realistic costs, and the things I’d do differently next time.

Not because every project turns out perfectly, but because sharing the process might make someone else’s a little easier.

A little bit of everything creative.

Life & Little Moments

Seasonal inspiration, family traditions, home projects, and everyday creativity.

It doesn’t have to be perfect to be memorable.

I believe the moments we remember most aren’t always the biggest or most elaborate. Sometimes they’re the smallest details, the unexpected touches, or simply the thought someone put into making something special.

You don’t need an unlimited budget, endless free time, or a perfectly styled life to create something meaningful.

A little creativity goes a long way.

Here’s to making the moments matter.

Whether you’re here for a party idea, a DIY tutorial, a helpful checklist, or just a little inspiration, I’m glad you found your way here.

I hope you leave with something you can actually use—and maybe a new idea or two.
